Configuring Virtualizor Cloud Manager
After license activation, configure the module from Virtualizor Cloud in Paymenter admin.
Virtualizor API credentials are configured on the Virtualizor Cloud server extension under Servers, not duplicated in Cloud Manager settings.
Before clients can launch VPS instances, you must complete Settings, create a hidden Paymenter product for provisioning, and link it under Settings → Billing. Cloud Products and pricing rules control what clients see and pay; the hidden product is only the backend shell Paymenter uses to create and renew services.
Main Areas
Overview: dashboard, health checks, quick links
Settings → General: launch page, public name, panel URL
Settings → Virtualizor: default region, node, virtualization, sync
Settings → Client Features: toggles for console, backups, stacks, and other client functions
Settings → Billing: provisioning product, invoice vs PAYG plans, and credit rules
Settings → Pricing Rules: global discounts, unit prices, and free trial limits
Operating Systems: OS templates for the launch wizard
Regions / Nodes: capacity and placement management
Cloud Categories: launcher groups, sale models, and resource limits
Cloud Products: fixed plans, included resources, and upgrade-on-launch options
Stacks: application stacks for post-install deployment
Proxy Settings: Edge URL module connection
Video Walkthrough
Step 1: Settings → General
Open Virtualizor Cloud → Settings → General.
Public cloud product name: label shown to clients in the launch wizard and service list
Launch page path: URL path for the wizard (example:
cloud/launch). Do not include a leading slash.Panel public URL: public URL VPS install scripts call for stack recipes (
/api/vcloud/installations). Leave empty to use Paymenter Settings → App URL.Enable Launch Server page: display the client launch page in navigation
Require login to open Launch: when disabled, visitors can configure a server before signing in
Debug mode / Detailed logs: enable temporarily when troubleshooting provisioning or stack installations
Step 2: Settings → Virtualizor
Open the Virtualizor tab.
Credentials (panel URL, API key, API password) are inherited from the Virtualizor Cloud server extension under Servers.
This tab controls how the module uses that connection:
Default region and Default node: fallback placement when a cloud product does not specify one
Default virtualization: KVM, OpenVZ, LXC, or Proxmox
SSL verify: disable only for self-signed certificates in testing environments
Timeout (s): API request timeout value
Automatic sync and Sync interval (min): synchronize regions, nodes, and templates with Virtualizor
Import regions and nodes under Virtualizor Cloud → Regions / Nodes before relying on these defaults.
Step 3: Create the Hidden Provisioning Product
The module provisions VPS services through Paymenter like any other product. Clients never purchase this product directly.
The product remains hidden and serves as the backend service record for Cloud Launch orders.
3a. Create a Category
Go to Products → Categories
Create a category with any name (for example:
Cloud InfrastructureorInternal)
3b. Create the Hidden Product
Go to Products → Create
Enter a name and description
Assign the category created previously
Under Server, select the Virtualizor Cloud server extension
Set visibility to Hidden
Save the product
3c. Add Two Pricing Plans
Open the product Pricing tab and create two plans.
Plan 1 — Monthly Renewals (Invoice Mode)
Field | Value |
|---|---|
Name | Any label (example: |
Type | Recurring |
Time interval |
|
Billing period | Month |
Currency | Your store currency |
Price | Any value — used only to define renewal cadence |
This plan is used to generate monthly renewal invoices for invoice-mode deployments.
Plan 2 — PAYG Shell (Pay-As-You-Go Mode)
Field | Value |
|---|---|
Name | Any label (example: |
Type | Free |
PAYG services are billed through account credit and usage metering.
The plan must be Free (or one-time) so Paymenter does not generate renewal invoices.
Save both plans before continuing.
Step 4: Settings → Billing
Open Virtualizor Cloud → Settings → Billing.
Default Provisioning Links
Setting | What to Select | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
Default provisioning product | Hidden product from Step 3 | Product used to provision and manage VPS services |
Default billing plan | Recurring monthly plan | Renewal schedule for invoice-mode deployments |
Default PAYG plan | Free plan | PAYG provisioning without recurring invoices |
All three values must be configured before invoice or PAYG provisioning can function.
Billing Modes
Enable the sale models used in Cloud Products:
Fixed product billing
Category billing
Slider / custom resources
Pay-as-you-go
Invoice billing
Let client choose invoice vs PAYG
PAYG Credit Rules
Min credit to create VPS
Min credit to keep VPS active
PAYG debit interval (hours)
PAYG grace period (hours)
When credit runs out: warn, suspend, shut down, or block actions
Step 5: Settings → Pricing Rules
Open Virtualizor Cloud → Settings → Pricing Rules.
These values power the launch wizard calculator and PAYG metering.
Global Discount
First month only — applies discount only to the initial order
Lifetime — applies discount to all future charges
Free trial — allows free resources within configured limits
Configure:
Global discount (%)
Free trial (days)
Eligible Customers
New users (no existing services)
Existing users (already have services)
Free Trial Limits
Define limits for:
vCPU
RAM
Disk
Bandwidth
Additional IPs
Backup slots
Usage beyond limits is billed normally.
Unit Prices (Per Month)
Configure:
Per vCPU / month
Per GB RAM / month
Per GB disk / month
Per TB bandwidth / month
Per extra IPv4 / month
Per IPv6 address / month
Per IPv6 subnet / month
Per GB SWAP / month
Per backup slot / month
These prices are used by:
Slider-based categories
PAYG metering
Upgrade-on-launch calculations
Step 6: Settings → Client Features
Open Virtualizor Cloud → Settings → Client Features.
Configure which actions clients may perform from their service panel:
Power controls
Console access
Reinstall
Rescue mode
Backups
Firewall management
Networking
Port forwarding
ISO mounting
SSH keys
Recipes
Scheduling
Cloud Apps / Deploy Center
Automatic stack deployment
Choose a stack installation method:
Virtualizor Recipe (recommended)
SSH from Paymenter (legacy mode)
Step 7: Import Operating Systems
Open Virtualizor Cloud → Operating Systems.
Import or synchronize operating system templates from Virtualizor.
These templates appear in the launch wizard and are used for stack compatibility checks.
Enable only the templates you intend to offer.
Step 8: Cloud Categories
Open Virtualizor Cloud → Cloud Categories.
Categories represent the first step of the client launch wizard.
